Kumaraswamy Vidyalaya is situated at Subrahmanya, the holy pilgrim centre surrounded with serene lush green beauty of the nature. The landscape is blessed with the majestic enchanting view of facing the holy "Kumara Parvatha" (Western ghats) ranges. The Institution is managed by Anugraha Education Trust (R) founded by Late Ln. MJF M. Kumar Nair.
The Primary School was started in the year 1996 and subsequently upgraded as Higher Primary in the year 2000 and as high school in the year 2001.
The Vidyalaya is equipped with a band of dedicated administrative and academic staff, and is striving to achieve a new horizon in service of the society. As a result the institution is getting excellent result in SSLC public examination for the last 15 years.

M Kumar Nair was a multifarious personality who served for the society, along with education, agriculture and so on. He started the educational service in the year 1996 under Anugraha Education Trust. He had a huge vision of making the rural children educated by imparting them world-class education with a fair balance of co-curriculum activities.
In my two years of student life at this college I have learnt many things and have greatly improved my knowledge. I like the faculty and I feel I had the best environment for my studies. I learned many new things from my lectures who were very helpful in every way they could. The lecturers were very friendly because of which I could clarify many of my doubts. I am really happy to be here.
Thanks for the management for giving an opportunity to study in a stress free learning environment with abundance of nature. I am really overwhelmed to be part of this institution and to get the best academic exposure here. My dream was to become a doctor. During the first few months of 1st PUC I felt very sad because I came from kannada medium. Day by day I improved my English. After one month I felt comfortable because of the support of the teaching faculty, they are very friendly. In the early days I used to cry, but I am very happy and confident now.
I am immensely proud to be a student of this institution. The teachers here helped me to enhance my academic and interpersonal skills. It is not just education alone but also were are carved out to be well cultured sociable individuals.
